How Do I?

Being an Elk is fantastic. Being a great Elk means taking care of fellow Elks and your Lodge. We depend on specific tools, resources, and each other to do that. We hope you find this page helpful. The Elks.org page has a lot of great information, so please spend some time checking it out and learn as much as you can about our great organization. To help you, here are a few links to various items you may want to look at. (You will need to log into the site with your elks.org account to gain access).

A lot of our documentation is key with the Lodge Secretary. For example, minutes of Lodge meetings and House or Board of Trustee minutes can be viewed by members within the Lodge. We are working on digitizing all our historical minutes. Please contact the Lodge Secretary at secretary@bpoe1181.org or call the front office at (360) 479-1181 to schedule a time to view specific information.

First, that’s great you are interested in taking on a larger role at the Lodge! If you would like to learn more about becoming an officer – ask one! Start with our Exalted Ruler, but all of our officers would welcome your interest and questions. To help our Lodge be the best we can be, we are assembling binders and training information to aid in that quest.
