Our Bremerton Lodge has given over $4.7 million to communities and individuals over the last 100+ years. We have supported, and continue to support, many of the great charitable works of our communities, including youth programs, veterans’ programs, senior programs, scholarships, the Seattle Children’s Hospital, charity support, food banks, and blood drives, to name a few.
- Our building has been a center of community activity through some of the following events and venues:
- Our annual Easter Egg Hunt (over 300 children attend each year)
- Our annual Christmas party for People with Special Needs
- Our annual Elks Car Show
- Our annual Trick or Trunk
- Pop-Up Blood Drives
We want the Lodge to continue bringing joy and lifelong memories to our members and the entire community. COVID has left us little working capital for innovation or large projects. Our building is aging, and we want to increase its durability and innovate. Some projects we would like to work on include a new sign, replacing the carpets with LPV or another flooring, saving for a roof or other high-cost replacement.
What Can You Do?
First, please consider donating to enable us to keep our building the community focal point we strive to be. All donations will be put into Bremerton Elks Lodge #1181 restricted funds and spent on building innovation projects only after Board and member authorization.
Second, we invite you to come to our Lodge and join us as a member. Find out just how large and encompassing the great heart of Elkdom is. You will be wELKcomed into our Family with open arms.
